This is a 1995 white wine from the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. Burgundy, along with Bordeaux, is the pride of France. It is the birthplace of the world's most famous wine, “Romanée-Conti”. The wines of this producer, who has been praised by world-renowned wine critics as “a unique and imaginative winemaker,” are difficult to find in Japan!
His wines show their true value after aging, so this is also a warehouse release that is shipped when it is ready to drink! He produces super long-aged wines that he imagines will blossom after at least 10 years.
