At Maizuru Kitchen, our beef is Kobe Beef from "Hyogo Tanaka Livestock," located in Tanba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture 🥰
Tanaka-san is the only producer in Hyogo Prefecture who feeds their cattle organic feed, out of all the Kobe Beef producers.
His belief is simple:
“We want people to eat healthy cattle to become healthy themselves.”
Despite the higher cost, Tanaka-san feeds his cattle organic feed because of this philosophy.
And just to emphasize, he’s the only one doing this.
Of course, the quality of the meat is so highly rated that many restaurants want to buy from him.
However, since existing customers keep reordering, it’s hard to establish new relationships.
