福岡・天神にある私のレストラン「舞鶴キッチン」のすぐそば、舞鶴公園では今、見事な桜が咲き誇っています。桜は、その一瞬の美しさで私たちに季節の移ろいを教えてくれます。

一方で、隣県の佐賀では4月末から「有田陶器市」が始まります。400年以上の歴史を誇る有田焼は、職人たちの手によって、時代を超えて受け継がれる「永遠の美」を形にしています。

「刹那の桜」と「永劫の器」。 この対照的な二つの美が共存するのが、日本の春の醍醐味です。

私たちのレストランでも、生産者の想いが詰まった有機食材を、職人が魂を込めて焼いた器で提供しています。九州の豊かな文化と食の深みを、ぜひこの春、現地で体感してください。

 

Just a short walk from my restaurant, "Maizuru Kitchen" in Tenjin, Fukuoka, the cherry blossoms in Maizuru Park are currently in full bloom. Their fleeting beauty serves as a poignant reminder of the changing seasons.

Meanwhile, in the neighboring prefecture of Saga, the "Arita Ceramics Fair" begins at the end of April. With over 400 years of history, Arita-yaki (Arita ware) represents an "eternal beauty" passed down through generations of dedicated artisans.

The "transience of the blossoms" and the "permanence of the craft." The coexistence of these two contrasting forms of beauty is the true essence of spring in Japan.

At our restaurant, we honor this harmony by serving organic ingredients grown with care on plates crafted with the soul of the artisan. This spring, I invite you to experience the profound depth of Kyushu’s culture and cuisine first-hand.
