「第31回なしか！祭」開催のお知らせ

なしか！祭　は大分県九重町にある八鹿酒造の蔵を解放して行われる大31回目の春の祭りです。

日本酒や焼酎の試飲や屋台や昔懐かしい子供用の遊びなどがあり、全国から7000人程集まります。

日時：令和8年4月12日（日）午前10時～午後4時

場所：八鹿酒造

　　　大分県玖珠郡九重町大字右田3364番地

内容：入場無料・雨天決行

　　　●OBSラジオ公開生放送　午後1時～午後2時30分

※一部の「特急ゆふ号」が「恵良駅」に臨時停車・臨時列車も増発

The 31st "Nashika!" Spring Festival

The "Nashika!" Festival is a celebratory spring event held at Yatsushika Brewery in Kokonoe, Oita Prefecture. For this special occasion, the historic brewery opens its doors to the public for their annual brewery opening (Kura-biraki).

The festival attracts around 7,000 visitors from all over Japan. Guests can enjoy:

Sake & Shochu Tastings: Direct from the brewery.
Festival Food Stalls: A wide variety of local treats.
Nostalgic Games: Traditional activities for children that bring back fond memories.

It is a wonderful day where both adults and children can soak up the festive atmosphere amidst the beautiful spring scenery.

Founded in 1864 (the end of the Edo period), Yatsushika Brewery is located in the scenic town of Kokonoe, Oita. The region is blessed with pristine spring water and a crisp, cold climate—ideal conditions for premium sake brewing.

Originally operating under the name "Funakoya," the brewery took on its current name, "Yatsushika," during the era of the third-generation head, Kanpachi Aso. The name was inspired by his passion for brewing and the auspicious number "eight" (Yatsu), which symbolizes prosperity and growth in Japanese culture.

Guided by the philosophy that "Exquisite sake is born from pure water, quality rice, and above all, the sincerity of the brewer," their signature sake, "Yatsushika," became a renowned brand representing Kyushu. In the late 1970s, the brewery also became a pioneer in the shochu industry, launching innovative barley shochu brands like "Ginza no Suzume."

Today, while honoring centuries-old traditions, Yatsushika Brewery continues to evolve, crafting flavors that complement modern cuisine and sharing the rich spirit of Oita with sake enthusiasts worldwide.

八鹿酒造は、江戸時代末期の元治元年（1864年）、豊後（現在の大分県）の清らかな水と厳しい寒冷な気候に恵まれた九重の地で創業しました。

当初は「舟来屋（ふなこや）」の屋号で親しまれていましたが、三代目・麻生観八（かんぱち）の時代に、酒造りへの情熱と「八」という数字への縁（観八、そして末広がりの八）から、現在の「八鹿（やつしか）」へと名を改めました。

「良い酒は、良い水と良い米、そして何より造り手の真心から生まれる」という信念を守り続け、清酒『八鹿』は九州を代表する銘柄へと成長。さらに昭和50年代には、麦焼酎ブームの先駆けとなる『銀座のすずめ』などの革新的な焼酎も世に送り出しました。

今日では、伝統的な日本酒造りを守りつつ、現代の食卓に合う新しい味わいを追求し続け、地域文化を支える蔵元として全国、そして世界へとその名を広めています。
